Made from high grade Chrome Vanadium, except the double Ratcheting pawls.
These are manufactured from high grade metal alloy, by power metallurgy for
extreme hardness.
We will soon be available on Ebay!

The tool had been tempered and heat treated to 55C Rockwell Hardness, similar
to all high grade quality tools.
Inside the ratchet hub, there are two ratcheting pawls, which share the load during normal
ratcheting action. These also keep the hub in the center of the ratchet head. This prevents the
hub from scuffing against the teeth inside the head.
In 85% of lesser quality ratchets there is only one ratchet pawl, which results in the ratchet
hub moving off center when the pressure of normal ratcheting is applied. This allows the hub to wear against the ratchet teeth inside the head, which in a reasonably short time will allow the
ratchet to slip.

The hub has a crown wheel moulded around the perimeter and there are pinion teeth
machined into the end of the handle. When the pinion is engaged (handle in the close position),
the twisting action to turn the nut or the bolt is achieved.
